Toledo Choose Local is a coalition of people from local businesses and non-profits, concerned citizens and government representatives working together to strengthen the viability and competitiveness of local businesses in the Toledo area, and to promote the overall social, economic, and environmental health of our economy and communities. We envision a vibrant, collaborative community where local businesses thrive and contribute to a healthy environment and the well being of all citizens.

Toledo Choose Local is sponsoring the following events:

Shift Your Shopping – Build an annual tradition that strenghtens our economy, expands employment and nurtures a sense of community! Shift your purchase dollars to locally-owned business. If you join us in shifting your dollars to independent businesses, we can all generate 2-3 times as much economic activity in our community than would happen if that money was spent at a national chain store. And don't forget to Choose Local for your meals. Spend your food dollars on produce from local farmers, food from local independent food sellers and meals from local independent restaurants.

Find out more about the local businesses, food retailers, restaurants and stores ready to serve you by going to our website: toledochooselocal.com!
